Where have we been?

Frontiers began over 25 years ago, when Greg Livingstone (our founder) was bothered by three significant questions:

  1. Why are Muslims the exception to the growth of the Good News about Jesus worldwide?
  2. What is the God of the Bible going to do about it?
  3. How can the first fellowships of Muslims following Jesus be established where today there are none?

Today, there are over 150 working Frontiers communities among 1.5 billion Muslims in over 40 countries, having established over 180 thriving Jesus communities that are reproducing each day.

We are looking for others to start new teams to engage those who have no living testimony to Jesus among them. (See our section on Getting Engaged for more information on unengaged peoples.)

Our members live and work, bringing hope and love to their Muslim neighbors in the following regions:

  • Southeast Asia
  • South Asia
  • Central Asia
  • The Balkans and the Caucuses
  • The Middle East
  • The Arab Peninsula
  • North Africa
  • Sub-Saharan Africa

If you, too, are bothered by Livingstone’s questions, give us a call. We won’t try to talk you out of your discomfort, but we can help you get involved.
