Get Engaged - Blessing the 247
A pioneer effort to bless the unengaged
Frontiers works with an international network of partners, desiring to see all Muslim peoples of the world engaged, in love and respect, with the message of the good news of Jesus by 2025. (See our definition of "engaged" below.)
Currently, there are approximately 247 Muslim people groups with populations over 100,000 who have never heard the truth about Jesus (Isa al Masih) and are not following the Word that leads to salvation in God’s Kingdom. And like all believers, Muslims long to be in God’s Kingdom, seeking the straight path of obedience and righteousness. Let us walk into the Kingdom together, as Muslims and followers of Jesus, in loving obedience to the One who saves.
We are actively looking for adventuresome teams and individuals (“sent ones”) to go where the news of Jesus has not gone before…
…to the unengaged!
We have outlined three focus regions for prayer for unengaged Muslim peoples - this is just a small set of the overall 247 unengaged people groups. Get to know these people as they are - God’s creation and part of His love for all humanity. Start here to begin your research and prayer efforts on these people groups.
What does "engaged" mean?
For Frontiers it means:
- There is a team or teams in residence among a people group - living in their neighborhoods and serving in their context..
- The team(s) is committed to incarnational living - working in the local language and culture to bring honor and respect to the people.
- They are committed to the people for the long haul - we don't dump on them and leave.
- They are working in a manner consistent with bringing love in self-sustaining fellowship and obedience to Jesus among Muslims - No other agenda.
